It's been a while. Almost a month since my last post so I feel like I should update a bit. The Chick-fil-a night was a success and brought in $204 when all was said and done. We are grateful.
We have almost completed our HomeStudy. Should be finalized within the week. That means that our next step is to get the Federal Background Investigation and to fill out our BIG paperwork for Colombia. We're getting closer.
After our HomeStudy is complete then I can start getting applications ready for grant applications and hopefully receive some much needed financial assistance.
Ohio. Ohio in March. Hot? Really? We checked the other day and it was actually warmer in Ohio than in Bogota, Colombia where our little one lives...or is being carried... Made me laugh.
We have NO idea where he is, when we will see him, what he is like. All I can pray for right now is that God is with him, watching over him, and molding him to be my son, our son, HIS son. And God mold me to be his protector, his cheerleader, his helper, his..mom.
