We finally finished our second dossier! We thought we were done 2 weeks ago only to learn they needed 4 more pieces of paper, BUT now we are truly done. So glad.
Soooo, BIG news at our house. We have accepted a referral of a little boy from China. He's the cutest little guy. We have found our Judah! Due to safety we are not permitted to show you a picture or tell you too much about him until he is officially ours; however, I can tell you that he is stinkin' adorable with the cutest little smile. He'll be 2 soon, so he and Jakey will be close in age. He's healthy and wonderful.
We received our "Travel to China" packet in the mail today. We have more forms and papers to fill out, but we are getting significantly closer. We've been told that travel will probably happen in the early fall. I'm just hoping that we'll have him before Christmas! We will only have to be in China for 2 weeks, which is terrific, and we are so looking forward to experiencing the culture and people of China.
Thank you so much for your continued words of support and prayers. We are very excited about the next few months and I look forward to sharing our new little one with you in the (hopefully) near future.
