After accepting our referral we finished up our Dossier for China. It had to be okayed and sent to the Chinese consulate in DC. It took about 2 weeks to approve. Once approved it was sent to China. That was about two weeks ago. We were told that our paperwork would be expedited since we already had a referral. That's good news. All of the paperwork will need to be translated into Chinese then approved. We are anxiously awaiting that approval. The way things are going it appears that we may be in China at the end of summer or early fall. I had a dream one night this week that we got Judah on September 26th. That would really be an ideal time. I look forward to seeing if that dream will come true. Regardless, my dream of being a momma to this child will happen! Of this I am sure.
This time last year, with Mother's Day approaching I was hopeful that I would be a mother of 3 this year. He won't be here physically, but knowing his little face will make things a bit easier as I long to hold him this Mother's Day. How I wish I could show you his puffy cheeks and sweet smile. His birthday was last Saturday. He is now 2.
We are getting closer every day to meeting our third child. I received the orphanages address a couple of days ago and have almost completed a little box of items to send to him in the orphanage. The caretakers have been made aware that he has a family in America waiting for him and they've asked that we send pictures so that they can start sharing his new family's faces with him. Will he really understand? What will he think? Will he be afraid or excited? I know one thing, God has brought us together and has great plans for our family. So excited!
