My little boy is out there. I think about him all of the time. Is he playing? Is someone rocking him and singing him a song? Is he hungry? Is he laying in a crib needing changed and crying? I ache at times when I think about his life before our family. I want him to be safe and loved and fed. I want him to know that we're coming and that we'll be there soon. I just keep praying. God already has a plan for our family and for Judah. When no one else is there, God is there. I love Psalm 139. We can go nowhere where He is not with us. From the very beginning God has been with Judah. Verse 15 and 16 say "My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me when as yet there was none of them." God has planned for him to always be with us. How amazing!
Today our paperwork was sent to Colombia, South America. The government adoption officials should receive our application and all of our documents by Friday! Friday!! What happens then? Well, after the Colombian officials okay our application then we will be referred to an orphanage. They will review our file and place a child with us. This could happen in 2 months. It could happen in a year. We are praying for sooner than later.
